Showcase Sunday #2

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea and is a chance for everyone to show off what they've acquired during the week.

This week has been pretty slow for me - I'm trying to cut down on Net Galley requests and I've closed direct review requests for this month so I can catch up.

In The Post

This week, Stay Alive by Simon Kernick dropped through the letterbox thanks to Dead Good Books and their book club on Goodreads. This is the January read for the book club and so far it's pretty awesome. I'm loving the writing style and can hardly put it down.

Net Galley

This week I got a couple reads from Net Galley. Thanks to Sandra Panting for the invite for her latest book, About Last Summer. I was also approved for Endless by Amanda Grey, which I've heard good things about.

Other

I have hit audible this week! I picked up Killing Rachel by Anne Cassidy for only £5.99 - that's cheaper than the paperback! It's been on my wish list for a while so when it was on offer I snapped it up straight away.

  1. Nice haul.

I've got The Murder Notebooks series on my Wish List with Amazon at present, but it was a case of getting bargains and the books that I've had my eye on for a while throughout Christmas.

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

I'm going on a bit of an Anne Cassidy binge in the run up to the release of Finding Jennifer Jones - it's number one on my wishlist!

    1. It took me a while and it has to be a performer I like, but so long as I listen to the samples I can generally find one I like.
