Showcase Sunday #3

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea and is a chance for everyone to show off what they've acquired during the week.

This week has been pretty slow for me - I'm still trying to cut down on Net Galley requests and I've closed direct review requests for this month so I can catch up.

This week, The Engagement by Chloe Hooper dropped through the letterbox thanks to Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea - I love a giveaway! I haven't started it yet, but can't wait - it's my next read. After that it'll be Rustication by Charles Palliser courtesy of WW Norton, you have no idea how lovely this proof feels to hold!

This week I got a couple reads from Net Galley, Wolf Bride by Elizabeth Moss and Broken Beauty by Chloe Adams.

  1. I LOVE historical fiction and Wolf Bride sounds like an amazing read. I hope you like it-can't wait to read your review!

    1. Shadow-reading it now, it's definitely an interesting start.

  2. Lovely new books, Cora. Rustification caught my eye...I will have to check it out.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Have a great week!

  3. Heard so many good things about "Wolf Bride", lucky you!
Happy reading, my fellow tea-book-old castles and mansions-nerd! ;-) x

    1. I've heard good things too so can't wait to get properly into it!

  4. Awesome books Cora! Ill definitely have to check most of these out. Rustification sounds intriguing!! Enjoy :)

Thank you so much for your comment.

If you've left a link back to your own blog, expect a visit from me very soon - I spend pretty much all day reading blogs and taking part in bookish discussions!
