Showcase Sunday #5

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea and is a chance for everyone to show off what they've acquired during the week.

I'm all better now so got a lot more reading done! this weekend I've been taking part in the Book Blogger Love-A-Thon. It's never to late to join in!

This week, Mother, Mother dropped through the letter box. It's always fun listening to the postman try to ram hardbacks through the door. I've seen a lot of awesome reviews for this book so I'm pretty excited to get stuck in.

This week I got a couple more reads from Net Galley. I really can't stay away! The Quick by Lauren Owen, Made in Nashville by Many Baggot and The Lemon Grove by Helen Walsh.

  1. I really enjoyed The Lemon Grove (though it made me want to be somewhere hot).

  2. Mother Mother sounds awesome! The rest I havent heard of but will definitely check out! Enjoy

  3. Nice new books, Cora! I have an ARC of Mother, Mother which I hope to get to soon, as I've also heard good things about it.

  4. NG is pretty impossible to stay off of. It's kind of like a drug. But I'm not really complaining.
    Mother Mother sounds interesting.
    Happy reading!

  5. I've heard great things about both Mother, Mother and The Lemon Grove, enjoy!

I know exactly what you mean about NetGalley. I've been working on my ratio this year, so trying not to request, but it's so hard to resist!

Enjoy your books and have a lovely week :)

Thank you so much for your comment.

If you've left a link back to your own blog, expect a visit from me very soon - I spend pretty much all day reading blogs and taking part in bookish discussions!
