Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea and is a chance for everyone to show off what they've acquired during the week.
This week has been pretty slow for me - I'm feeling a little under the weather and I've opened up review request again - seems like some people were waiting as I've had loads :O
IN THE POST
This week, A Higher Duty by Peter Murphy dropped through the letterbox thanks to Real Readers. This one looks really interesting although I have to admit I probably wouldn't have picked it up. Also, a friend sent me Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer by Katie Alender because it's all sorts of girly fun which doesn't need too much thought and I've been pretty under the weather and feeling down this past week or so.
This week I got a couple reads from Net Galley. It Felt Like A Kiss by Sarra Manning and The Secret Diamond Sisters by Michelle Madow. Both look like the kinds of books I need right now and I can't wait to get stuck in. I've just finished another Sarra Manning book, the second Diary of a Crush which I haven't read since I was in highschool - but the pretty new covers on the re-issue meant I couldn't resist. Reviews should be up next week.
