Review: Fractured by Teri Terry

Kyla has been Slated—her personality wiped blank, her memories lost to her forever.

Or so she thought.

She shouldn't be able to remember anything. But increasingly she can—and she’s discovering that there are a lot of dark secrets locked away in her memories.

When a mysterious man from her past comes back into her life and wants her help, she thinks she’s on her way to finding the truth. But this new knowledge lands her in the middle of a tug-of-war between two dangerous adversaries, and despite her misgivings about both of them, she’s forced to choose a side for her own protection.

5 Words: Control, revenge, punishment, memories, strength.

This book is not just as good as the first book, it's better! This series is going from strength to strength.

There was a hint in the first book about the whole Slated process, and how it wasn't just criminals but also people who elected to be Slated, and I'm a little disappointed that it wasn't followed up in this book. Fingers crossed for the next?

This book started to delve deeper into the the characters and open up your eyes to who they truly were.

It had an excellent, fast pace and I loved how I was slowly realising the truth about Kyla even as it slowly dawned on her.

I totally get the hype about this series, so now I'm humming and hawing about reading the next. Because then the series will be over. And if it follows on being even better than the previous books the I'm sure it'll leave me Shattered.

  1. Everyone raves about this series but I have still yet to read it. The fast pace sounds great, I'm glad you liked it!
