Top Ten Tuesday #64

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and is a chance for everyone to get to know fellow bloggers and share lists. I love lists. Every week is a different list.

This week is Ten Facts About Me.

I tried to make sure this wasn't a list of ten bookish facts, so you might learn something about me! In no particular order...
  • I love tea.
All sorts of tea. I drink it by the pint-sized cup at a rate of about 1 per hour.
  • My favourite book is I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith.
My school librarian recommended it to me when I was in Year 9 and I've never looked back
  • I am named after a waterfall.
It made the papers in the local area when I was born because SOME CRAZY PERSON NAMED THEIR DAUGHTER AFTER A WATERFALL.
  • I miss Miss Bimbo.
I used to be a mod on Miss Bimbo and I miss it so much. It was honestly the most fun I have ever had online and the community was amazing.
  • I procrastinate.
A lot. With everything. Even reading.
  • When I was 18 I was asked to do a solo exhibition in a gallery.
And I turned it down because of uni. And then I dropped out of uni. #Regrets
  • I have zero A-Levels.
General Studies doesn't count. And guess what? It doesn't matter.
  • I have a cute little dog called Belle.
Yes, after Beauty and the Beast. She's supposed to be a Lancashire Heeler crossed with a Jack Russel but she just looks like a Chihuahua.
  • I am a book hoarder.
I get it from my mother. Our house is filled with books in every room, every bookshelf double stacked, piles of books precariously against walls and furniture.
  • I live with my mum and dad.
But only while me and my other half are saving for a deposit. Good thing? We live in one of the poorest areas in the UK so house prices are low. Bad thing? We're poor.

  1. Book hoarding is the best. XD At least we'll never be in want of something to read, right?!?! And omg being named after a waterfall is AWESOME. I was named after my aunt's doll...I'm still totally offended by that. -_-
I loved your list!! It's always awesome getting to know more about the blogger behind the blog, right?! :)
    Here's my TTT!

  2. Hi Cora, I love tea too! I am trying to reduce the number of cups I drink a day and I'm currently suffering terrible withdrawals so please have a cup for me (but don't tell me cos I may cry) lol.

I Captured the Castle was the one book my Gran recommended me when I was young and I loved it. So I agree best book ever!

I love that you're named after a waterfall! My name was chosen just to stop my Gran from insisting I be called Keziah... how does that to a child?

Your house sounds like our house, our books are double stacked everywhere too. And don't worry, me and my husband have been together 10 years and only just moved into our own place last December. We've lived with Uni mates, my parents, his parents and my brother so you will get there, I promise.

    Good Luck

  3. I'm big fan of tea! As much as I love coffee...sometimes tea seems to be the only thing that does the trick.

  4. I wish someone else in my family was a book hoarder, or even a reader so that they could understand me. As it is we go to the library and my mother leaves with maybe 1 book, I leave with 7. And I finish before she does.
Also I absolutely love your blog name!
