Top Ten Tuesday #75

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and is a chance for everyone to get to know fellow bloggers and share lists. I love lists. Every week is a different list.

Top Ten Bookish Resolutions.

This week is supposed to be Top Ten 2017 Debuts I'm Excited For but I never really know much about what's coming out unless other bloggers are talking about them - I'm not on any mailing lists or reviewer lists of anything.

Much easier is my top ten bookish resolutions. Spoiler alert: I always break them.
I usually read 200 books a year, but this year I'm dropping it down to 150
  • Keep a book journal
I bought one and I WILL USE IT especially to keep track of book clubs reads and buddy reads
  • More bookish events
When I say more, I probably just mean 3 days at YALC
  • Read more British books
The British Books Challenge is going to be helping me read more
  • Read more crime
I got a My Bookmark DEAD bookmark, and imma use it on crime novels
  • Listen to more audiobooks
I'm going to aim for once a month for walking to/from work
  • Blog ahead
I'm so so bad at this, hopefully doing it more will make it habit
  • Stay off Net Galley
Hahahahahahaha. Ha. I like to joke.
  • Read the book first
I want to read the book before I see the film/show so I can JUDGE SO MUCH
  • Use the library more
Everyone should support their local library

  2. Hi! I find it hard to find debut novels too. I'm usually more excited by sequels cos I know what to expect. Ha, love your netgalley resolution, I said the same thing this year and I've already spent a couple of hours browsing... but I didn't request anything, so I see that as a step forward and I agree with your library resolution. I moved last year and now the library is literally down the road... I have no more excuses. This year, I plan to read more from the library and buy less books.

Hope you succeed at a few of these :)
    Happy Reading

  3. I wish I could read more no less. I need time to read. I used to read a lot but then I got older and tired hahaha.
I hope you could reach your goals this year!

Thank you so much for your comment.

If you've left a link back to your own blog, expect a visit from me very soon - I spend pretty much all day reading blogs and taking part in bookish discussions!
