Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and is a chance for everyone to get to know fellow bloggers and share lists. I love lists. Every week is a different list.
This week is Top Ten Books If You Like Skins (TV).
Gritty, controversial, and all UKYA, here's my top ten books to accompany the series. They cover a variety of genres and subjects but are all awesome and evocative.

- Black Rabbit Summer by Kevin Brooks
- Looking for JJ by Anne Cassidy
- Junk! by Melvin Burgess
- Pretty Bad Things by CJ Skuse
- My Daylight Monsters by Sarah Dalton
- Noughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman
- The Dark Beneath by Alan Gibbons
- Berserk by Ally Kennen
- Slam by Nick Hornby
- Megan by Mary Hooper

You've got some great YA choices. I either love them or want to read them.
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteSome of my favourite books up there!
Ooh I'm not familiar with the show or any of these books. Look, new books!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I've always wanted to watch skins, and with Noughts and Crosses being on my eventual TBR--maybe I can fulfill this desire (somewhat). Thanks for stopping by my blog! :D
ReplyDeleteCheers,

My TTT This Week.
I'm unfamiliar with both Skins and UKYA. Clearly, it's time to remedy that with my British obsession this year. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOoh! I haven't read any of those books but they sound super unique! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteOh, beautiful covers! MY DAYLIGHT MONSTERS looks gorgeous! :) Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these, or with the series, but these look really interesting.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by :)
I had to google the show since I hadn't heard of it before. I am surprised! It looks good.
ReplyDeleteI have never watched an episode of Skins but I would like to at some point. I have not read any of these books either, but I have the Noughts and Crosses series on my TBR :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
