I am currently reading Heist Society by Ally Carter.
No one knew for certain when the trouble started at the Colgan School. Some members of its alumni association blamed the decision to admit girls. Others cited newfangled liberal ideals and a general decline in respect for elders worldwide. But whatever the theory, no one could deny that, recently, life at the Colgan School was different.
I am really just starting this, so no real opinion on it so far. I've always wanted to read something by Ally Carter, and this had the prettier cover out of the two series on sale (at the time) because the Gallagher Girls covers are awful.
So, thoughts to come... Hopefully.
Sure, blame it on the girls. LOL

LOL I love that you based your choice on the cover. I can be so quilty of that. I wondr how many really good books we mess out on because of unattractive covers?
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. I LOVE the background of yours!
That's one thing I can be thankful to ebooks for, I very rarely look at the cover image. But yeah, I judge a lot on covers and although it has led to some gems, it has also had me reading some total disasters. I'm like a magpie.
DeleteThanks! An online friend (and absolutely amazing digital artist) made it for me. Sometimes I just sit staring at it.
I enjoyed this one. I still have the third one in the series to read. I also read and enjoyed the Gallagher Girls series. Don't let the covers put you off. I am reading Truest by Jackie Lea Sommers this week. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteGood opening. I'm wondering what trouble is happening and why it has everyone in such an uproar. Sounds like the alumni association is against making changes.
ReplyDeleteMy Friday post features Taming Jenna.
I do like the tone of the beginning, the way it's both slightly humorous but also suggestive of trouble! I hope you're enjoying it! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great week!
