Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and is a chance for everyone to get to know fellow bloggers and share lists. I love lists. Every week is a different list.
This week is Top Ten

Magical Reads
I love stories filled with magic. I love the possibilities that open up, the power imbalances, the easy (or are they) fixes to problems.
So here are ten of my favourite magical reads, with a decidedly witchy slant

I've been wanting to read Half Bad for awhile, but never got around to it.
ReplyDeleteOooh these sound amazing, just up my street! I absolutely love delving in to the gothic genre and really spooky, witchy themes come autumn, ahhh there's nothing better :D xx

I have only read 'shadows on the moon' which I thought it's a rather hard read mostly because of the self harm scenes, once I get pass that, it's actually quite good, although I much prefer Marriott's other book 'barefoot on the wind' which also features magic.
ReplyDeletehave a lovely day.
I haven’t heard of any of these (so out of touch with the book world since I started uni) but I cannot wait to look into these more! I love magic, and I haven’t read any magical books in YEARS. I always find they’re my favourite, and the worlds you can build around magic are the best to dive yourself into. Cannot wait to check these out, thank you for the recommendations!

Ooo, I remember I looked at Half Bad a few times because its synopsis interested me. I never did pick it up though, but who knows! Perhaps I finally will. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Top Ten Tuesday!
I love Rivers of London! I'm so excited for Lies Sleeping next month!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of most of these. I do hear a lot of good things about Undead Girl Gang though.
ReplyDeleteUndead Girl Gang is on my TBR list. I've seen it on a lot of TTTs today, so it must be good.
