Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and is a chance for everyone to get to know fellow bloggers and share lists. I love lists. Every week is a different list.
This week is Top Ten
Childhood Favourites
I've kind of already done this one a few years ago, but this is straight up favourites rather than books I'd like to revisit. As much as I'm not a fan of classics as a grown up, I utterly adore children's classics and have done since I was a wee'un.
Here are ten of my own childhood favourites:

What were your favourite books as a kid?
I can't believe I have only read Harry Potter off this list! I was a big Roald Dahl fan when I was younger!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see someone else with Black Beauty as a childhood favorite. It has always mystified me that more people (here in the U.S., at least) haven't read it -- or sometimes even heard of it; I can't tell you how many people meet my mention of it with a blank stare. I hope it's more popular in its native country.
ReplyDeleteI adored the Sheltie the Shetland Pony series - I couldn't get enough of those but I've never even been a fan of horses so I'm not sure why haha!
ReplyDeleteOoh, Black Beauty is a good choice!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT.
The Worst Witch sounds like such a fun read.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Black Beauty! I remember how much I treasured that book when I was little, although tbh, I can't recall actually reading it haha I just remember showing it off all the time! Great list :)

ReplyDeleteI can't believe I forgot to include Ballet Shoes on my list. I love the Fossils and Garnie! And I definitely read all the other Shoe books, although I loved none as well as the original.
ReplyDeleteThe Worst Witch was great. I never read Farthing Wood but I did love (and was scarred by) the TV series.
ReplyDeleteOh, The Worst Witch! Tbat is definitely one of my childhood faves too. I loved Mildred. Did you ever see the old film of it with Diana Rigg and Tim Curry? Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteBlack Beauty was definitely one of my childhood favourites as well!
